Cash Rebate On Sierra 1500 Ex Cab

In the past the extra $500 comes from financing through Ally. Go onto GMC's site and build a truck using your zip code to see the incentives.

Yeah its $4505 financing with Ally. Which they aren't bad at all, they remind you when its time to pay, off great low interest rates, and you can pay right online.

And if you go to a great reputable dealer, they will show you on a computer what you are paying for your truck such as getting it down to invoice and then adding in the rebates and incentives. I got the best deal ever on my truck.

Can someone tell me what the cash back in now? I see both $4005 and $4505. So what one is it?

$4005 is for regular cabs. $4,505 for ext. and crew.

NP man. definitely some deals to be had if you're able to qualify for other rebates besides just GM. I just bought a truck last nite....2011 Silverado Crew LS and used GM top off points and rebate from USAA as well.

if you intend to finance, i'd be curious to see what you find when it comes to interest rates. i was pleasantly surprised when i picked up my new truck last week. compared to when i bought my Sierra back in 2008, my credit score has remained essentially the same but i was able to finance at a lower rate; 5.75% back in 2008 compared to 4.24% now. i would have expected it to go up if anything. a lot of factors attribute to this, but even so i'd curious to see if you find yourself with a better rate compared to your last truck.

you should have had your financing figured out before you went to the dealer bc you could have gotten a better rate. dealers mark up financing and get a little cash that way as well.

i've done it both ways in the past and the dealerships have yet to let me down. in fact, more times than not they've been able to find me a better rate than what i've found on my own.

you should check out credit unions next time, you'd be surprised how low their rates are.

last 3 vehicles (including my current) have been financed through credit unions. anyway, we've derailed this thread enough.

Just an FYI check out PENFED. Very easy to deal with and the best rates around. I got 2.99% on my 08 and right not its 2.49%.

Also where is a good source to find a trade in number on my current truck...i know kbb and nada are typically higher then what the dealer offers.

Yes dealers can typically get you a good rate...I've got a 2.8% note on my 11 Sierra Denali....the term was anywhere from 48mo to 72mo depending upon what a guy wanted for payment term...I still got 5500 in rebates as well.
