500 by the end of July

I have thought for a while that we could have 500 members by the end of July. Now I am certain that we can do it. By the way it's not the number of members, it's the amount and quality of activity on any Forum that keeps people comming back.

I don't know about the end of the month.

That's a pretty tall order with there only being 16 days left in July but it could happen.

I still think it's going to be within the last week of August.

Any guests care to register just to prove me wrong? :biggrin:

The site doesnt get paid per user. However, you sell advertising "per impression" meaning, how much traffic or hits per day. I believe Mervz told me we are at about 1000 hits per day which is large enough to start selling some ads at ? per ad (which is why you see that figure at the top of the home page)

What if Ford wanted to post an ad, would Mervz go for it or not? That'd be really great, Ford advertizing on a GM truck site! Or is it something out of his control?

I think I read somewhere that Mervz customized his web-stat.com account so it doesn't count Newbies visits, so, no, Newbies visits aren't included in that 3000+ hits figure.
