2002 Yukon Instrument Cluster Going Crazy

My 2002 Yukon has a malfunction in the instrument panel, when I am driving all the gauges jump and dash lights come on. I am aware that the instrument cluster on these cars 2003 and up have problems, but in 2002 this was not the case. I bought a used cluster and the same thing occured. The other day after leaving the lights on, I jumped the battery and the problem disappeared for a couple hours. It is back and worst than ever. Sometimes closing the doors will make gauges jump. Question is could it be a relay, BCM problem (possibly loose wire), or a bad ground? Please help, there no other issues with the truck, drives and looks great.

Check for loose ground straps underhood and also, sometimes the cluster itself develops cracks in the solder at the connector, so a little soldering on those contacts could help.

Thank you for your response, much appreciated. I have been doing so much research on this issue and when I run accross it on other boards and forums no one seems to have solved it. I have a feeling it is something small, nothing like the dealership thinks. Please if anyone has any input on the issue, don't hesitate to respond.
