Body Lift Issue

Just put in the zone leveling kit and zone 2" block in the back and installed a rough country 1.25" bl. I notice when I am driving it feels like the cab is shaking back and forth a bit? Everything is torqued down and tight, and I also have problem when shutting my doors the one seems like it needs to be adjusted up and the other one down has anyone else had these problems? There was a strap the goes from the frame and attaches to the cab it never said anything about removing this in the instructions but it was really hard to fasten back together, I don't know if this could of caused the doors to be out of whack?

Sounds like you have a front suspension proble. I know you said it is but go over everything again and make sure it's all torqued properly. Also make sure the bolts are torqued to spec. after your front end alignment.

The doors have only been out of whack since I put the bl in, could it be that heavy duty strap going from the frame up to the back of the cab pulling the cab down enough to cause the doors to be sitting a tad high, they are both a little high where they latch shut. I am not sure if those are grounding straps or if they are just some sort of safety strap and if it would hurt to just remove them?

You replaced the two (harder to get to) mounts in the front of the engine compartment right?

Ya the ones near the bumper there. The strap that goes from the frame to the cab behind the passenger door and driver door are these ground straps? or just some kind of safety strap..

ground straps.

Oh really, what does everyone else do with them when they install a bl? There is no slack in these straps and they don't stretch, I was playing around and removed them from both sides and the cab has lifted a tad and the doors shut good now...

call RC

I have called RC and they didn't have a clue about there being two ground straps attaching to the cab and the frame, they said nobody has ever run into this before.

I ended up creating a bracket out of angle iron so my ground straps are attached again and my doors seem to shut good.

That's strange. What exactly do ground straps have to do with the doors shutting?

Got pictures of the straps you had this issue with?

I didn't have this problem with my 3" BL. Wondering if GM shortened them or something...
