Custom Center Console Ideas

I have a 40/20/40 split bench in my truck with the fold down seat/console, and I was thinking about taking the whole thing out and replacing it with a floor console. Well, problem is, I cant seem to find one that has all the parts, and that I can afford. So I have been browsing the web looking at custom consoles that people have built themselves, and I really can find anything that is storage based. Mot of the consoles Ive seen are extremely intricate subwoofer consoles built for looks and sound, rather than storing junk. So, I was just wondering if anyone on here has built their own console.
