Here is my story and questions. 2007 Yukon SLT

I thought the battery on my remote key was dead, so I replaced it. I took to the Yukon to the dealership so they could reprogram (I know I can do it myself) and they told me that the transmitter was dead, because the TPMS is showing nothing. Its says to have it serviced. They told me the transmitter in the key fob was dead. I ordered one myself and tried the instructions to program it (the same as the owners manual. It's pretty straight forward. Anyway, I can't get the compuer to go into the Remote Key learning is active phase. I searched the web and only came up with a couple of things. One link talked about the RCDLR, and someone stated that they fixed teh problem by reseating the Climate Control System/Remote Function Actuator Fuse. That's great, but I can't seem to locate the fuse, and I have looked at both fuse boxes. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? My next step is to disocnnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes. I can't believe that is this complicated. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.
