2007 Yukon Remote Start With A Twist.

Howdy folks, I'm new to the forum and own my first GM that is smarter than I am. (My last was a 78 Sierra, go figure!) Anyway, Last week the CEL illuminated and the code is for a minor evaporative emissions leak. Haven't pinned it down yet but the code will not clear after replacing fuel cap. Yesterday the remote start function stopped working and I lost my XM signal. The remote start had been working even with the CEL (about a week) now when the remote start is pressed the fuel pump energizes then there is a click which I'm assumming is the pump de-energizing and no start. The truck starts fine with the key but when I first noticed the start function inop last night the XM signal was alos lost. The AM/FM is fine and I had the signal re sent and my account settings checked. So far no joy, any ideas would be a great help. Thanks

I had my XM poop out on me and I pulled the negative battery cable for about 5 min, when I plugged it back up everything was back.
