Gauge Cluster Bulbs

Recommended Posts

A couple of bulbs are burnt out behind the gauge cluster on my '06. My '01 took the 194 style bulbs that twisted in and out. Are the ones on the '06 the same or are they a solder type bulb?

There are some threads out there in regards to these lights. They are solder in type bulbs. Do a search for "steering wheel lights" or "dash lights" & you will get ideas of possible replacement part numbers & procedures. I also have quite a few lights out but I just haven't been inclined to fix them yet. Good Luck!

I don't see anywhere what kind of bulbs to use. I want to stick with stock type bulbs. Are they just 194's with solder type ends?

Anyone have a part number or know what kind of bulbs the factory one's are?

Yeah, I saw that thread but I was wanting to replace them with non LED bulbs like the factory ones so they match the rest of my lights.

I just replaced all mine and it was pretty easy once I figured out how to solder. That is the first time I have soldered anything. So if I can do it, you shouldn't have any problems.

I had a few bulbs go out on my 06. I have an extended warranty that covered it.
