J_Ryd Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 I saw on auto trader.com the other day for a 1994 3500 Silverado, crew cab, diasel, doolly with towing package. This truck is priced at $8,995 but has 158,000 miles on it. I was thinking of taking a look at it since it is near me. Those miles are the only thing keeping me away from it. I come to you guys for help. Is there anything that I should be concerned about when looking at a truck this old with that many miles on it? How long do you think it would last before costly repairs would have to be done? Also keep in mind that I would be dealing with a dealer on this truck as well, and you all now how they can be
chevy4x4trucks Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 drop me an email w/ the VIN number and I'll run a gm service history on the truck. That sometimes can be a good indicator about how good the truck is. And diesels generally last longer than gas engines, so I'd say that truck is just hitting it's prime
