Rattling After Installing Edge Evolution

I recently bought and plugged in an Edge evolution and have been gettin a rattling noise from what sounds like right below the drivers seat at higher rpm's. When i have it stock i dont get the noise and on econemy its there but not as severe, performance mode you really notice it. It sounds just like the exhaust moving around but I checked all the joints and they are all tight and there is no rattle unless its in gear and driving. Its an 08 sierra 5.3 4wd and Im burning premium so i dont think its a knock. would the u-joints be affected that much in performance mode from stock? Im no mechanic so any input would help. Thanks

I have the Hypertech program, & mine knocks bad on premium at full throttle - especially with the crap fuel we have up here. Not sure what state your from, but if ethanol is mandated there you probably run into the same issues I have. When I travel out of state & fill up there, it's not as bad.

 

With a custom tune you can richen up full throttle enough to stop the detonation, but with most of these factory programmed units it's a compromise to work on a million different vehicles in a million different climates. Custom tune is the way to go ... but pricey.

Custom tune from BB performance is cheaper than gettin a tuner, so I don't see how it can be pricey...

I got an edge and I have not issues like that at all.
