Ford keys for a 2001 HD 4x4

I am new at this forum, so first of all, I would like to say HELLO to everyone, its a great forum.  I have been reading some threads on "Ford" keys for the 1/2 ton models and how everyone uses them to raise the front end more.  I was wondering if there is a "Ford" key available for the HD models as well as the 1/2 tons??  If so, I would appreciate any information needed to order one, like...part numbers, year and model Ford they come off of, and the sizes needed.  I would be thankful for any help in this matter.  Thanks guys!

I too would appreciate an answer to this. I've done a search on this but have not found a post on the 3/4 ton applications. ???

Thanks in advance .

ford uses the same key for both the f-150 and f-250. i was told the keys will work on a 2500 hd. so I ordered one. it is indexed differently and appears it would work. however, it indexed too much. I could not crank it enough to allow me to get the adjuster bolt retainer block back into the slot on the crossmember. I cranked the torsion bar tool as far as I could and could not get that block in.

So in other words, the ford key will not work on the 2500HD. this is why Hill has two different kits. there is another company on ebay that is selling keys for the 3/4 tons. I actually got a set. they look exactly like the stock keys but they are indexed about a 1/4" different. they appear to be factory GM, however the part numbers were ground off. Same trick as the Hill kit. I had them on my truck, they worked, but I took them off. was going to sell them, but they got stolen. here is the ebay link:  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1873502862

good luck,

kyle
