Rc Leveling Kit Installed

Finally got around to installing the leveling kit. Also removed the lower valence on the front bumper. Now time to get some new 285's on it to complete the look. Also debating on removing the side steps.

i would leave the steps. they will help get in and out, they also help protect against stone chips which these trucks are vulnerable to getting

Looks good. I'd leave the steps too.

I take them off only when going camping up north so I don't hit them on a rock.

After you guys mentioned about your wives needing these, I decided to leave them on. I don't use them at all, except for when I'm washing the truck and cleaning the snow off the roof.

Looks VERY nice ! I'm about to do the same with mine , Did you install the leveling kit yourself ? Was an alignment needed after the installation ?

An alignment is definitely needed afterwards! I just put mine on and it was out pretty good.

To the OP...... Looks good! I have together some 285s on the new one ASAP

I did install the kit myself in my driveway. Only took me 45 mins total (I have air tools and I am an ex-mechanic) including an oil change completed in the same time frame.

I had the alignment completed (which I still think isn't correct) when I had the new tires installed. I have a trip this weekend, so when I get back I'll have the alignment re-checked.

Here is an updated pic with the new 285's on it.

Those are the best tires I ever put on a truck. When these stock ones wear down I will get those again!!!
