New Tailgate

well i backed into a tree with the tailgate down which is beyond repair, anyone know where i can order a new one? its on a black chevy 1500 new body style.

try ebay or craigslist... might find a black pre-painted used one that was most likely stolen LOL, jk!

 

if your deductible isn't more than $500 i would just go to a body shop and let insurance pay for it!

 

gmpartsdirect has them for $511 with shipping just for the tailgate. that doesn't include the tailgate cap, or any other the handle parts/internals, plus it will probably cost another $100 or more to get painted
