Thinking Of Getting A Exhaust

I was thinking of getting a full exhaust for my 07 silverado 1500 classic.

 

I was thinking of short headers (unsure of brand), New Y pipe (mayb w/o cats), and a cat back single side exit.

 

I want all SS.

 

The headers I like were drop in. So they could be used in a stock system. I like that so if I ever need to replace anything it keeps it simple.

 

So gibson headers, Magnaflo off road Y, borla cat back. Do you think Ill see any HP gains from this? Im looking for low to mid.

I would recommend the Corsa cat-back exhaust.

Skip the shorties and go long tube. The stock manifolds flow almost as good and you won't see much of a gain with them. Besides, the shorties are good for top end, not low end. If you want low end torque then you need long tube headers.
