New Ride

I been debating whether or not to get a new truck or something else. I have always like the H3's, finally found an Alpha Edition. I figured I would rather have the dry storage as opposed to the 6 foot bed I used 3 times a year. As far as "custom" I have a plenty of ideas rolling around in my head, but I'm not sure what direction I want to take the rig. I'll try go get some more pics if it ever quits raining.

2008 Hummer H3 Alpha

5.3L V8

Boulder Grey

Black on Black Leather

AWD

Selectable Rear Locker

20% Front Tint

Awesome looking ride!

Im thinking 6 inches and 35-36 swampers ,custom front bumper/grill guard holding a winch, custom fab'd rear bumper, and a roof rack with lights would look really good

from what i have seen most of the H3's are chromed out and have 24's... dosent look good on a hummer.

they look good stock or "offroaded" out

Going to keep it rather stock on suspension. I can tuck 35's stock with a little t-bar crank. Custom bumpers are in the "think tank" right now. Roof rack is going to happen for sure.

Nice! Been thinking about the H3t Alpha for my next ride.

Those H3T's are good looking. I almost went that route, very hard to come by in my local.

That is a fact. I'm def not going to go with the ghetto fab look. I'm thinking offroad/expedition style. I have plenty of mountains to explore in my area and this is going to be the perfect vehicle.

The aftermarket is pretty small for "functional" items. I could chrome the whole rig off ebay faster than a turd hitting water. As far as the useful items they are out there but not cheap. Good thing I own a welder and I'm handy with a tape measure.

Mods in the future:

-Blackbear tune

-CAI (probably custom)

-Rock sliders (easy afternoon project)

-Front Bumper/Winch mount (probably 3 Saturdays)

-Rear Bumper (2 hungover Sundays)

-Roof Rack. I like the Gobi's, but $$. Still doing research.

-Going to need tires by next summer. Undecided

I'm sure lots more to come. I'll be pic friendly for all those interested.
