Oil system analysis

What is this and what does this "test" tell you about your vehicle?  What's it cost?

Good stuff for peace of mind. Especially if you have one of them knockers. I have the oile checked on all of my vehicles to establish a general timeframe to change the oil. Found that the optimum is 4k miles for the type of driving that I do.

I'm going to have mine done here shortly. Since I change my oil once a year, it will be interesting to see exactly what is going on in my engine.

 

I can be the test bed for everyone on the once a year oil change, while using Amsoil synthetics.  

 

I'll keep everyone posted.

If I were to have this analisys done and it comes back "bad".  I take the report to the dealer and truck is still under warranty, will they fix it?

Can't speak for the dealer, but if they don't I would calmly press the issue. There is no reason why an independent lab would lie to ya, so there has to be a problem.
