Garage door opener

I am having issues with my garage door opener in my truck. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Is there any way to increase the range of the factory unit, or am I just S.O.L.??? Anyone else had issues with their opener??

Maybe its not the truck. Check the antenna on the garage door opener. I can open mine from more than a block away.

Mine started to be intermittent also,It would work on open but not close, close but not open? What worked for me was reprogram to another switch,I was using the center one.I changed to first button and has worked for two weeks and no issues? Just a thought.

Can you reprogram to a different button? I am pretty sure the problem is with my truck. My wife's SUV as well as the handheld openers work half way down the street. Where is the antenna for the opener on the truck. Is it the shorty one sticking off the roof? Is there any connections I could check to make sure there is a good connection for the antenna? Thanks Guys..

Same issue here too. Sometimes works great other times I move truck around driveway till it hits the signal. Makes me crazy. Would be nice to have a fix for this.

I know you can program up to 3 different openers.My manual in the glove box had all the direction to redo the homelink opener.I did it so anyone can do it! Mine requires about 75 to 50ft to work it's an 04 sierra? Good luck
