Talk about going from 1 end of the spectrum to the other...I traded in a 2010 Honda Fit that I never really got comfortable in for a 2011 Silverado LT Extended Cab Blue Granite Metallic w/ All Star Package, Convenience package and the Trailer Brake option. Have put 1000 miles on it in 7 days...

What a nice vehicle! So far the only accessory I have added is a Bugflector II (a must for the highway driving I do) Have the bed Line-X'd this Friday. Looking at perhaps 3 " Nerf Bars ( the ladies have a tough time getting in lol) and also the Weather Tech in channel window visors and the Weather Tech quick attach mud flaps

Been getting almost 19 mpg the 1st 1000 miles so pretty pleased...expect it to go up with even more miles once fully broken in.

Suggestions for other accessories?

Glad to be here :)

Welcome to the site and Congrats on the new truck. An RC 2" leveling kit is always a good place to start. Other mods might include grill inserts, tonneau cover, new wheels, tires, cat back exhaust and a custom tune from Blackbear performance

Thanks guys! I'm in Merrimack. How do you like the Weather Tech Mudflaps? I like the no-drill concept, just wondering how they hold up in real world driving

I don't mind the drilled style myself. Quite frankly they hold up better over time in my experiences. I just put some silicone on the threads to seal the holes when I put the screws in and have never had a problem loosing one or rust. Also the molded style tend to rub the paint down to bare metal over time.

This is what I'm running. They are GM mud flaps for about $16 a pair

I somewhat know where you're coming from in regards to the Fit. My wife has a 2007 Fit and driving it after driving my truck, it feels way small, and vice versa.

One mod that's on my list is a backup camera, more for peace of mind than necessity.

I have the weather techs and given the choice I wouldn't' get them again. They do look fine and are holding up nice but if I ever wanted to pull them off the paint under them is scuffed to hell. Get husky mats for the front and the weather tech rear mat. My carpets look new after 3 NH winters thanks to these.

Where are you having your line-x done? I need to get my bed caps and rear wheel liners done and am looking for somewhere good.

Ok good info on weather tech mudflaps and the husky mats...I was debating on the husky or WT for the front.

I had my bed done at Line-x of Merrimack Valley in Bow right on Rt 3A. probably just down the street from you in Concord. they did a nice job, I'm happy with it...there is one little raised spot right up near the front of the bed but looks like this is where the nozzle from spray was? Nothing a dremel can't fix. The owner Steve Owen is a really good guy and easy to work with. They have quite a bit of accessories in his shop as well...you name it and it might be in there lol. I'm even thinking of making the trip back up there for a tonneau cover, nerf bars and probably buy the husky mats there.

Yea, I stopped in at Bow and got a price, they seemed a bit high but if they do good work I'll pay a premium. I think it was going to be about $350 for bed rails and to do the rear wheel wells.

I mean I can only vouch for what they di on my truck the other day. Like I said, there is a little stop towards the cab that looks like a mini stalactite. I can say they do seem to do a brisk business. While I was there Friday morning a woman was getting a cab put on her Tacoma and 2 other guys dropped a bed of a truck off...yeah just the bed lol. Phone was ringing pretty good too. I think if they did shoddy work business wouldn't be like it is.

Could be a captive audience as well. Not too many Line-X dealers in this area. I see you have a Rhino liner...are you happy with the work they did? Could you get the work you want done there?

Work was done by dealership where I bought the truck (mass). I would have preferred Line-x but they had a local Rhino dealer and it was quick and easy. I thought I was going to like having the plastic bed covers better but they suck.... Guess I'll checkout Bow again after I get my new snow tires...
