One thing I just noticed......when they Line-x the tailgate they take the 3 bolts off on the inside that I imagine hold the latch in place. One of the top ones was put back in at a slight angle so it doesn't sit flush. I tried backing it out and back in but it has been set at the slight angle now. I didnt want to take the other 2 out so I'll just put a dab of black RTV to keep any moisture out. Probably nitpicking and no one would probably notice except me eyeballying their work. Just makes me think if they half assed something little like how would they be on a step bar install or a tonneau cover. I was planning on using them for both but now not so sure,

Food for thought. Maybe being anal on a week old truck thats all

Yea, I'm pretty anal about things too so thanks for the heads up.

If you have any basic tools a tonneau or step bars can be installed. Also checkout Yankee custom in Nashua. I haven't been there in a few years but they did a few things for me a long while ago and were great to work with.
