Couple swap questions

Son has a 95 1500 4x4 that he parked upside down, It has a good 4.3 with around 130000 miles on it.Would this be the same as the small Blazer or Jimmy around the same year? Truck was a shop truck for the dump trucking co. he drives for. Didn't get drove much, just getting parts and such the lower miles. Thinking uf putting the engine in a Blazer, Trailblazer or whatever the smaller ons a called.
