temp repair for tranny fluid lines...

Any ideas on how to repair or temp fix a leaky line from tranny to the radiator. It's leaking where the hard line meets the rubber hose, the rubber looks as if it is coming loose.

it is a common problem as the crimp leaks ,..

 

you can remove the outer crimp and clamp it BUT it has alot of pressure and replacing the line is the smartest thing to do

and use extreme caution, hot transmission fluid sprayed on hot exhaust mainfold = fire, I know of a truck that was lost this way.
