i have an exhaust leak near the o2 sensor.its in a welded spot so the surface is rough im thinking the exhaust tape they sell wont adhere to the pipe.i was thinking bout putting some concrete on there to patch it not sure it will stick to the metal pipe but then again its a rough spot so im nt sure if it will completely fill in the hole also thought about jb weld buuut th etemp factor plays a part..ANY ideas lemme know

Forget the exhaust tape crap.. Call a good exhaust shop.. One with a guy who knows how to weld or a hitch and welding type place.. It should be a quick and affordable fix since it will only take a few minutes to weld the area around the bung. Just be sure they disconnect the battery cables before firing up the welder on it.

It shouldn't cost more than $20 to have a shop slap a bead on it. Heck, buy a muffler and they'd prolly fix that for free while it's on the lift.

Learn to weld IMO

LOL..........and then spend a ton of money buying everything you need to fix it yourself.....

Like stated before, find an exhaust shop, they will fix it and it won't cost much. It is much cheaper to take it to a shop than it is buying everything you need to fix it yourself.

You could also try using the welding putty made for high heat. I have used that a couple of times to fix exhaust if it was in an area hard to get to. But like others have said, get it welded if you want it done right. Not sure what a shop would charge but it should be a quick easy weld.

OP where are you located? If you're close to me I could lay a bead on there for ya.

You could pick up a beginners mig welder for cheap though...then a 50 dollar hood and scrap metal and you're good to go
