6.2L L9H cam swap and headers/exhaust mods...

Hey guys. new to this site! just can't find any answers anywhere else!!

So I got a 2011 6.2L sierra and I want to get some long tube headers, but having a hard time finding any??? I cut the muffler and resonator out and welded in a cherry bomb xtreme muffler. it sounds great but i think im losing a little torque and it not as loud as i want it to be. (my 98 350 sierra with true duals and cats intact was SCARY loud!!) was wondering if the stock y pipe with the cats on it will have to be swapped if i put on headers as well. wouldnt mind keeping those and cutting the third cat out with some true duals out the side!

also was wanting to put in a slightly more aggressive cam in there as well without having to do any work on the heads. i see some people putting LS9 cams in but that seems a little over the top for a daily driver? already have a blackbear tune but will be getting a retune when i get some input and order some parts!!! thanks for your help guys!!

Kooks and Stainless Works are two that i know of that make stainless headers for your truck.I have the same L9H motor in my truck and it cost me 1600.00 for a set of catted 1 7/8 tubes.Get ready for DTC 1133 and 1153 when you put them on,because that is what is going to happen.

The corvette LS9 cam is not a VVT cam like that is in your L9H.You can use it if you convert over. Comp Cams makes four VVT cams,so does Mast and Texas Speed.
