WHAT PSI TO RUN 295/55/20 NITTO TRAIL GRAPS

Wheels are 20x8.5. Looks to me like the tires are not wearing evenly. Some of the nipples are still on inside and outside of tire but not in the middle. Ben running 45psi. Should I be running lower psi and if so how low. Thanks in advance for any info.

45 psi is that the pressure the tire installer put in ?

45psi sounds a little high to me, probably why the center is wearing. Run factory pressures and you'll be fine.

If the center of the tire is wearing it sounds like the PSI maybe a little high. My dad use to manage a Chevrolet dealership, and he kept telling me to run 35 PSI on stock tires. I tend to run 40-45 PSI on my old 22s and on the 24s I have now. My rims were eating the side walls on the 22s at 35 PSI.
