Back in a Chevy Silverado again

Greetings,

Thursday evening I just picked up my new 2011 Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab Z71. I traded in a 2010 Ford F250 Extended Cab Powerstroke. I had good luck with the Ford, but I missed having a crew cab (my previous two 1/2 ton GM's were crew cabs) more than I missed having a diesel. Since the 2011 redesign the 6.0 Vortec equipped trucks are now rated to tow my equipment trailer when it's fully loaded (13,000 pound GVWR) so I dumped the diesel for cheaper fuel cost and lower maintenance costs and similar fuel economy. I really have nothing bad to say about the Ford, it was a great truck, but that was only my second Ford, while this is my 7th GM product (1983 GMC Sierra, 1992 S10 Blazer, 1997 Yukon, 2002 Trailblazer, 2005 GMC Sierra, 2009 Silverado, 2011 Silverado HD). I did miss some of the nice things that I'm used to with GM trucks, when I had the Ford, although I do miss how the doors were cut down lower by the side mirrors on the Super Duties, but all in all I'm happy to be driving a Chevy again. Hopefully, I'll find this forum as informative as some of Ford and Diesel forums that I joined when I had my last truck. Thanks for having me.

That does look cool on the Ford's. I drive a semi & the Kenworth doors have the same sort of cut out along the bottom.
