Whine/whistle after tune

Mine does something "similar". I could call it a faint whistle...but definately not a whine. I attribute it to airflow in my intake. But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to check my hoses just to be sure, based what's discussed above. In any case, the truck still runs like a sexually violated primate.

MAybe a pulley whining..Before my alerantor went bad it was making an annoying sound but it was all the time.I sprayed the idler pulley in my 5.7 work van with pb blaster and that noise stopped

So I went back to stock config and it still does it. Then my son proceeds to tell me that it has always done that. I guess I just never heard it. Oh well, still an interesting noise.

I do that. I change something on the truck and while making sure its sall OK I begin to notice things that have probably always been there.
