Whine/whistle after tune

I've noticed now since my tune that when I stomp on it, I hear a faint whine/whistle until I get off of it.

Any idea where it's coming from (ie front or rear of vehicle)?

Never heard that before. I've had 4 trucks tuned and never heard that I'd check for a vacuum leak

You have a cold air intake? I know with the cold air intake that my truck whistles faintly when im accelerating.

Mine does the same at full throttle, along with my dads and brothers. All three have CAI. Never had any codes or warning light either. They did this since day one (after CAI install).

yeah, im pretty sure that there are no leaks in the cai's, but possibly the filters that are used, cylindrical filters attached directly to a big ol' tube, not to mention the fact that with the supposed air increase leads me to think a bit more dust is making its way through but it is what it is.

Sounds like just airflow. Doesn't make any sense though.

Well have you recently messed with the intake components recently? Maybe cleaned the maf sensor? Or cleaned the throttle body?

Maybe try having someone rev the truck up while you listen under the hood. That might help you find your problem.

but seriously, check all the intake connections and hoses.

 

if its more of a whine, could be your belt or alternator causing the noise

Mine does something "similar". I could call it a faint whistle...but definately not a whine. I attribute it to airflow in my intake. But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to check my hoses just to be sure, based what's discussed above. In any case, the truck still runs like a sexually violated primate.
