Left Foot Rest A.K.A. Dead Pedal

I had car with something similar in them but not seen them in a truck. It was a nice place to rest my foot but in the truck, I'm happy just letting y foot rest against the floor like it would if I was in a chair. You could probably test if you would like it by using a section of 4x4, just don't drive the truck with the block lose on the floor.

my wifes cr has something like that built in as stock ( 2011 dodge avenger) but i dont seem to miss it in my truck eith the higher seating

Our Jeep SRT has a dead pedal but the only time I used it was at the track when driving like crazy on the road course. In that case it was useful. I can't imagine using it for driving on long trips.

I couldn't get my size 15 shoe comfy either. I made my own dead pedal and it made all the difference in the world. If I had known about this one I probably would have just bought it instead of making my own.

Interesting. My '11 Silverado has a "dead pedal" area built into the floor and I can reach it and get comfortable just fine. Maybe it's just my disproportionately long legs finally being useful for something.

Looks easy enough to fabricate your own for a lot less than $60.
