New Deck? will it mess up Bluetooth

Hey, I have a 2011 GMC Canyon, I have the Bluetooth option in my truck but I want to install a new deck with a usb so I can listen to my I pod, If I install a new deck will it ruin my stock bluetooth?

It shouldn't... The bluetooth function is contained ina separate module (VCIM) ...

If your just looking for a ipod connection. they have packs to install that onto the original H.U.

 

*Just noticed where your from.

 

there is a place in the G.T.A that my local dealership goes to that has an available pack that you can install on the original head unit.

 

we tried to put a GM one on (PAL) but it wouldn't work because i don't have an XM modulator on it.

 

so this other company has one that works without the XM modulator and allows full ipod control from the H.U.
