I went to wally world and bought their best. My original delco lasted 8 years. Anyway, the Walmart everstart maxx has over 800 (880 if I recall) Cca 3 year non prorated replacement and is made by Johnson Controls, who makes interstate, die hard, duralast, owns Optima etc. It was less than $60.00 if i remember and has a nice carry handle. Don't spend big $$ for a brand. They all come from the same factory, same lead and same acid, except Optima. I just cannot justify 2-3 times the cost for Optima. Finally, we travel a lot and theres always a Walmart. I actually did a dollar per cca analysis, warranty second and Walmart won. Its been two years never missed a beat in the harsh Maine winters.

Optima doesn't seem to be what they once were since Johnson Controls got their hands on 'em. My experience from my '04 'Vette; operative word here is......Johnson. That's what I think I got. I have always had great luck with Interstate; also Johnson, so go figure.

Optimas used to made here in Denver and at that time had an excellent reputation. They shut down the factory and jobs and sent everything to Mexico. Since then the quality and reviews have been problematic for them.

I quit buying their product and have been using Deka AGM batteries.

Made in the USA.

Have the best autocraft they offer, gold 800cc I think, and it gets the job done considering the fact I have a sound system , it holds well.

Yup get a strong battery made by Johnson controls (Auto craft, duralast, everstart, die hard, interstate) or Get a strong battery from East Penn (Deka, Napa, Car quest). For the GMT-900 My top choices are the Napa legend 84 or Interstate megatron.
