threw code P0449, purge vent solenoid or whatever?

hey uys, just threw this code and the printout from the auto parts store says this is what it is, anyone have any experience with this? 2009 Sierra crew cab gmt900 2wd 5.3l

Threw the same code a few weeks ago and the check engine light ended up going away and hasn't come back. Guess it has to do with the gas tank and how it vents? Not sure why mine would throw the code and then go away. Keep us posted if you find anything out.
