Am i going to hurt the 8.1 running it with the exhaust leak

Just curious if im gonna hurt anything running the truck with this exhaust leak, it sounds pretty bad. Its the last bolt/stud on the drivers side.

Im just waiting on money to get a set of stainless works headers, so im trying to just do it once VS fixing the leak with a new gasket and hardware..

I really dont want to mess anything up other then the power loss and gas mileage,

I'd think you'd be ok if you are taking it easy. I wouldn't be running it hard or towing very much.

I had headers installed on my old 94 silvy, the place that installed them where idiots, needless to say there was a leak after a few weeks. I ran it like that cause I was in highschool with no money and didn't think i could do it myself with the tools i had. I finally fixed it probably around a year later and the truck still ran fine, just popped a lot.

I talked to stainless works today.. and they might do a free install if i came out to there shop in ohio, and you the truck for there dyno test and audio/video info on there website..
