Peeling Bumper Corner

Are the bumper corners on a 900 painted? I noticed today a spot on my RF corner has peeled away; about a 1" x 2" area smack dab in the middle. It's silver, and the layer underneath is also silver. Maybe it was resprayed before I got it at 20K miles? Thanks.

  Didn't I read where if Gm does the valve body on the "Allison", you get a 10yr/150k warranty? Kinda wish mine has a minor blip around 24k. Get a free trans service, and a pile of warranty.
