My Trail Grapps are quiet. If I went with a AT though I'd go with Mickey Thompson ATZ's. Love the sidewall on the 20's and hear they last a long time

Thanks. Yea I really liked the trails look but the noise was just getting a bit to loud. I decided and went with 305/55 20 zeons LTZ.

It may be too late now....but IMO the leveling keys are a waste of money. Just crank up your stock keys, get the front re-aligned, and you're good to go!

Well I was thinking the same thing. Some say you have to level to get 33x12.5 to fit...some say you don't. If its not necessary I don't want to waste money.

Also, I've been looking at trucks with 305/55 and they look no where near as big as my 33x12.5 trails. I know the trails ran as a big 33 but the 305s seem to look tiny.

So the shop I go to said that leveling with the stock keys would be fine but that this would cause me to have to upgrade shocks. Is this correct? $460 for front fox shocks with alignment. he's also trying to push me toward the toyos and said he has had both trails and open mts and hr said the opens are much quiter. Dang, I'm confused. I know he's running a business but first he said get the readylift kit, then he says dont, now he's saying no readylift but shock upgrade is needed.

Discount tire is going to mount one of the 305/55 20s because they believe with modification to the inner fender (jus the plastic) that I can fit these under without leveling on the 2500? Any thoughts??

I did have to level the 1500 but it looks, from research, that people are able to stuff a little more meat under the 2500s.

I would level it even if you can fit it. Atleast crank it a little to give you more clearance. My 295/55/20's measure 32.9" tall and 12.52 wide and sometimes I rub sway bar, sometimes not on 2" level on a 1500.

Leveled out with 33x12.5's on a 2500 will look good.

Just crank the bars, get it re-aligned, and go. The longer shocks, or shock extensions may help the ride a little....but they're not necessary...especially if you only go a few turns. If you were maxing them out, then maybe. I would crank them up 3-4 turns, drive it for a few days to see how you like it....raise or lower it if you're not happy...then get the alignment done. The whole shock thing can be done later if you don't like the ride
