So my buddy is getting ready to buy a Sierra and wants to know if anyone can run a VIN to make sure its not a wreck or something.

I don;t think anyone is allowed to do VIN checks on here anymore....Going to probably have to go through the dealer, shouldn't be a problem for them if he is interested in the truck. OR he can have a check done online for a smal lfee.

Carfax.com the fee is small considering the expense being considered.
