ATT PS2 players/owners

Just wondering if anyone got this game for X-mas and has the network adaptor to play online.  I should be online sometime tonight with the name VWVR6 or something very close to that (my screen name on EXRiders.com -- ATV site).

 

 

Also, I got GTA Vice City and noticed that my receiver would decode DTS surround during game play....how does that sound?  I dont have my complete 5.1 speaker setup yet...only using two fronts.

how much does that network card run???  I wouldn't mind plugging mine into the LAN and doing some online gaming with it.

not sure since it was a gift, but I think they are going for $40-$45.  You can use either a dial up connection or a broadband setup.  They have about 5 games out that can be played online with other players.

yeah, my network hub is sitting about 10' from the tv, if that, so I'd just have to run another cable along there, but I suppose I'd have to get one of the online games first

My boys got the Socom Navy Seals game and it has online play but says broadband only.I was wondering what i needed to get to get them online.....Gun

I have an Xbox with Live and Ghost Recon is sweet.  I can host games for six people with no problem, but sometimes I crash with more than that.  Don't know if it's an Xbox limitation or DSL.  Can't wait 'til downloadable content is available for Splinter Cell.  That has to be in the top five games I've ever played...

 

I didn't have to do any set up.  I have a Linksys router/switch and all I had to do is plug in the Xbox.  If you don't have a router, you'll probably have to duplicate the settings on your PC that you use to connect to the Internet if it's similar to the Xbox Shotgun.
