1911 owners... questions concerns or fun lets make this long

I just picked up a Remington 1911 this spring. I have only put 100 rounds through it during a trip to the range but it was a joy to shoot. Looking forward to my next trip.

I've taken it out twice more and have about 500 rounds through it now. It seems pretty accurate even with cheap Winchester ammo. I can keep 7 shots with in about 8" at 25 yards freehand. My only complaint is the grips don't feel quite right in my hand so will look into replacing them soon. Its my first 1911 and I have been very impressed with the performance from a fairly inexpensive gun.
