2006 Sierra Classic - is there an OEM NAV "plug and pray" opti

My 2006 Sierra SLT has the Bose system, XM Satelitte radio, Onstar, steering wheel audio controls and CD.

I'd like to add NAV. Is there a simple swap that will give me GPS without sacrificing the other features? If so is there a P/N or description on what units to look for?

Does this require the dealer to reprogram the radio to match the VIN?

Thanks

Delphi used to make a unit. Pretty sure you still need VSS wire. Or you can find a factory nav on ebay. Those are only a few hundred bucks.

I have a '06 Suburban LTZ that came with the touchscreen NAV. The deck is called a TNR800. There are several P/Ns, depending on premium or luxury (LUX) amp and other factors. The upgrade is doable, yes I think you need to visit the dealer to have the VIN married to the radio / theftlock deactivated.

See this fantastic thread...

Make sure you know if the HU is LUX or not and which amp you have, or will be getting if you don't have an amp.

Good luck!
