OnStar Antenna

I get much better coverage from OnStar in remote areas then I do with just my cell phone's built in antenna. I can match the signal strength if I use an external cell antenna and amplifier but I cant leave the antenna on due to low ceiling heights in my underground parking.

 

Is there a way to utilize the OnStar antenna with my own cell phone? Or could I install a second OnStar antenna and connect it to my cell phone and ampifier?

Why not buy a used one off of ebay before you take your truck apart and figure out how to T off of it to your amplifier and cell phone? Once your figure it out, pull your truck apart and make the connection.
