Programming problems--nav unit in 2011 Yukon

I have a topic on the audio forum but not getting many hits. I had a nav unit from a 2010 installed in a 2011 yukon. The unit works fine until I put the car in drive, then it starts randomly changing sources, if I power it off it turns back on. Is it possible that it could have been programmed wrong? I talked to a certified radio repair place and they told me the unit is not broken. I'm bringing it back to the dealer today because the problem is so bad I had to immediately pull the unit out and put my old one back in.

So could programming cause the problems above? My yukon does not have RSE. The nav I bought does not have the DVD label on it. One person suggested they may have programmed it for centerpoint. But I'm thinking that they programmed it for DVD so the unit is trying to prevent playback somehow when I put it in drive but instead it's doing all of the other stuff that I mentioned instead?

TIA for any help on this issue
