Anyone killed any snakes this summer?

I killed this badboy on the side of the road where ive killed several rattlers...i guess they like getting run over by 33 inch mt's huh haha?

Yeah I've gotten a few..all with the truck while driving. No pics, sorry. One of the problems when you live in an area that used to be a swamp.

No, but I've shot a skunk and a groundhog so far this summer in my yard. I've got another groundhog running around the yard that will be meeting its maker before too long. I live adjacent to farms and they like to mess around in my back field and sometimes near the house. I chase them off but if they keep coming back, they got to go.

I know what kind of snake this is but do y'all? Any of y'all wanna take a crack at identifying it?

Just gonna say so glad I don't have rattle snakes or snakes that big where I live. We just have the small garden snakes but I have run over about 8 or so far this year.

Not scared of much but man I HATE SNAKES. We were working on my cousin's bass boat down at his slip last week, opened the hatch to the batteries and there was one coiling up looking right at me. Didn't see it until my face was about 2 feet from it. I'm pretty sure I could have ran across the water after being that close with a water snake.

 

Matt, that snake is friggin massive for being in that log. I'll never be able to cut up would the same now...
