Cold air , tune or both

I've been lookin at throwing a cold air on my 2011 silverado also been wanting a programmer or tune to help mpgs and power any suggestions will one help the other or should I just tune it

Blackbear did a comparison on a bunch of different cai's and they all seem to add some power

 

I would say do both. Good bang for you buck

If you have the money do both, if you don't just do the tune. I did both at roughly the same time and it made a big difference. I also love the way the engine sounds when it's sucking in air!

I have an Autocal (Which is needed for Blackbear) for sale in the For Sale Section.

 

I say do both, but as stated above, if only enough money for one, the tune is the best bang for the buck hands down.
