BDS Lift

New to this site. I have a 2011 1500 Z71. I am wondering if any one has had any machanical issues with the 6' BDS lift. I have had the truck for a yr and it time to change things up a bit.

any suggestions..?

I've had mine for close to 4 years now I think, and I'm running a 1" leveling kit. No issues....yet.

Thank guys..

Been doing some reading.. Sounds like people have had issues with the AFM(active fue management) system.. Sounds like it doesnt work with a lift.

 

Also with the people have the same rig. Has anyone put up 35's with out haveing to trim the wheel wells...

Agreed. AFM is not suspension related. The problem is the oversized tires and improper gears without a tune to correct. That would cause AFM not to work properly. Turn that crap off with a tune.

Ive got a 6" BDS lift, AFM and I run 325/60 on 18x10's with no major concerns. I do have a rough ride, but I'm thinking that is because of the tires and not the lift.

 

I have no issues saying it's good quality parts and an easy lift to install.
