Might have a tranny problem

This morning while driving something didn't feel right.  I had the right away to make a turn, so I slowed down, made the turn.  When I accelerated it felt like the transmission slipped a little then slammed and caught.  Buddy who was with me said it slammed kind of hard also.  Has anyone had any problems like this or know of a TSB for the transmission?   I've felt it before but never slammed so hard.  I wasn't going fast or floored it during the turn.

Truck has about 34,700 miles and has a automatic transmission.    :smash:

Did you check the fluid level? Autos will do that if they're low.

I had to have both the trannies reprogrammed in my 1500 and 2500HD for this same problem...  I bet there is a TSB, but I don't know what the number is...

I had something funny (hot haha funny) happen the past 2 days (when the trans is slightly still cold).  When i am holding the pedal constant the trans went into OD then went out of OD then back into OD (there was a noticable like push from behind).  I know when the trans is cold it delays the shifting but this was wierd.  It is very cold out (8 degrees this morning) so i am sure this has something to do with it

Well I took Friz's advice and checked my fluid level.  It was low.  But, the fluid was changed by the dealer about a month ago.  I'm taking it back and going to complain.  I'm going to have them check everything out and tell them to detail the truck since they didn't do it right the first time.

Welll the dealer told me that a hose was loose and the transmission fluid drained out. Well they must have done me a favor and cleaned off the under side of the truck because when I checked it was clean and there are no oil stains on my drive way. Guess it couldn't have been their fault not filling it up right when they serviced it.  :wtf:

I have bee having problems with my 2001 for months.  Have taken it back to the dealer many times and they have yet to fix.  Dealer tries hard but can't get support from Chevy.  The problem is that it hangs in second .  Normally when it is cold (florida cold 65 degrees).  Just got word today to bring it back in there is a bulliten out that addresses the valve body having foriegn objects.

Also when i was in Penn and temp dropped to low 20s second had whinning noise.
