I would like to remove cam, intake,and heads and install bigger cam,L92 heads and matching intake.

 

This shit is driving me nuts. port shape,reluctor crank/flywheel bolts. etc.....

 

I wanted the aluminum LS2 for its weight to power and the fact it was super cheap. but if it is too hard to install are change over there really is no point.

 

I am going to ask over at PT.net see what they say. Thanks guys!

Are we talking about an 800 or a 900? If its a 900 an LS2 or L76 would be the 6.0 swaps

I am talking 900 and swapping LS2 6.0L. I wanted the 6.0L rather than upgrading the stock 5.3L. For two reasons. First the 4.00" bore will let me run the L92 heads (heard the flow numbers are great with these?). And I have DOD and it is like $300 just to delete then cam and so on.

 

So is the LS2 intake better or worst than MY intake and will My intake fit?

Yea you can go with the LS2 or an L76. The L76 was used in the Vortec Max and the G8

The longer runners of the truck intake give more torque I believe but HP is lower
