4.8 gets pulled Thursday

No one owes me nothing. Disability is not from combat. I fractured 4 vertebrae and wore down discs just working while I was in. Tranny and TVS1900 are in the cards just not immediately. A cam is too.

But I drop off my truck in an hr and a half. I have to drive out of town for school and won't get back til midnight. So there is no way I'll be up at 8 to drop it off tomorrow.

I'm not doing it yet. And by that time I don't know what the condition will be. And its a 2wd tranny not 4wd

Ok, It was worth a shot... Im trying to find a decent one to swap in VS spending 2-2200 in a rebuild.

I talked to the tuner as well... Time to start saving. he has me damn near sold on LS3 heads and a TVS2300 blower. Similar to the setup Justin at Black Bear had on his Silverado SS. Supposedly will get me 500 to the wheels.

WOW...with 500 at the wheel you have no choice...but to do something with the tranny!

But the tranny comes first. Then will be the heads and a bump stick. Supercharger is last on the list.

500 to the wheels, holy cow. With 2WD you're going to need some big 'ole tires to hook up. I'm running BFG 305/40 ZR22 G-force T/A's and have to go easy until about 35mph. As for the vmax badges, it would be more fun if you had 4.8 badges that you could leave on...I like the new sig.

I have enough spin in 2wd with stock power, I can't imagine 500!

They said should be ready by 2. So just over 2 hours.

Here lies my 4.8. It was a good engine and has already been to hell and back. Did everything I asked it to.
