exhaust tip make a difference?

right now my exhaust dumps under the bed right after the muffler. the tip right now is really an exhaust pipe bent down some. i want to get a proper tip. would there be general sound differences between the below tips? theyre all turn down style.

 

3" inlet, 3.5" outlet, 12 inches long

3" inlet, 4" outlet, 12 inches long

3" inlet, 4" outlet, 18 inches long

 

would there be a noticeable difference? or should i just go with the cheapest?

I wouldn't think unless you're planning an actual tailpipe out the back there won't be any difference from what you have now.

My dumped exhaust was kind of like yours but had no bend or a tip, when I added the turndown tip, it seemed to mellow the tone a smidge but, still is loud as before.

This. The tip doesn't really add volume it just refines it. usually what I've been told is the larger the tip the deeper the tone

yeah i figured it wouldnt make too much of a difference....should probably just go with the cheapest i can find and be done with it.

i think im leaning towards the 4" x 12" though.

larger as in longer or fatter...or both?

Not sure if length would change much but if you adapted a 2.75 in straight pipe to a 5 in outlet tip, maybe the sound would expand some but Im not 100%.
