Flushing power steering manually?

I have an 04' 3500 dually, with the 8.1l and allison tranny. My power steering pump failed after 150k miles, Replaced it with an auto house pump, Only thing I could get on short notice. Now 2-3 weeks later it failed. I could push shaft in and out like a plunger. I have a new pump ready to install,

It has the hydroboost brakes

My question is, How can I flush the power steering system without the new pump? I figure while I got it apart, may as well flush it. I dont want to get anything in new pump, if there's something in lines. Would vacuum pumping be best bet or Low air pressure?
