Autocal Tuner

I am looking to buy a used tuner, my question is, will it be able to tune the 2014 models?

EFILive has every intention to have the 2014s covered by all current software/hardware suites.

Does anybody know if the 2014's will be (or like) the Global-A vehicles and use the newer MDI scan tool. If so then will GM be able to read scan counts or historys like on the Global-A vehicles and tell if a vehicle had been tuned even if returned to stock and void the warranty?

The new trucks aren't even out so any info is currently speculation. It has been said that it will be but we will see.

The supposed word on the 2014's PCM is it will be like the current LMM Duramax which really has no support and from EFILive's point of view never will either. Time will tell.

So, is there anything I need to look for when buying a used Autocal tuner?

Make sure it is connected to the tuner you want to use, and see how many licenses have been used.
