Driveshaft clunk Once, now sluggish

Just want to say thanks for past advice on my alignment, you all helped a lot and now it is sorted out. Recently we went on vacation for a week and when we got back my wife drove the truck and had the driveshaft binding and bumping on her in a border lineup. She described it like a wheel falling off or getting hit, and it didn't clear up until she got driving again. I drove the next morning and it was very sluggish and I had to work on stop and go to get it to thunk, and shudder. I was not able to get it into the dealership till Friday, by then it seemed to have resolved itself so the dealership was not able to replicate it. Normally that would be good, but the truck still seems a bit hard to get going from a standstill and takes more gas to reach the same speed. I had the foreman and tech drive it and they say its fine as far as power wise. there is also a very slight lerch to the front under braking that was not there before. I understand that warranties are not to keep your vehicle like day 1 pristine the whole time and its gotta be a real problem to get fixed, but this really bugs me, especially the slight drop in fuel mileage and bit less power. I have 15000 miles and its a 2012 crew cab short box. If this definetly sounds like a slip yoke I would consider buying a nickel one on my own bucks and installing myself just to avoid this aggravation and multiple trips to the dealership which is in another town about 45 minutes away.

Dealer or you check for any codes? Yoke wouldn't cause a sluggish problem, just the clunk.

No codes thrown, just feels like a brake dragging slightly

I also havew a 2012 BMC with 6 speed. Same pop, Sluggish and Drop in fuel mileage. Mine acts as though it's in 2 gears when I back out of driveway or ready to pull out from stoplight. Not all the time. Any thoughts?
